How to make a no glue gift box suitable for a wax melt

If I'm being totally honest, I prefer making gift boxes to cards.  The design of this box isn't a new one but I adapted it to accommodate a wax melt I bought and make sure that it fitted perfectly.  Because this box isn't held together with glue, its essential that the melt fits snugly so that it doesn't fall out.  My video tutorial gives you some alternatives to the box I demonstrated

Dimensions are as follows:

Designer Series Paper (See A Silhouette): 4" x 9.25 " scored on long side at 0.5", 4.25", 5" and 8.75"

Score on the short side at 0.75" and 3.25"

You need to make a mark on each long side at 3.5" and 5.75" and join this to each of the central lines as shown in the video

The video shows how to fold and burnish the score lines as well as making a hole in the top and threading ribbon through it.

This is a great project for using up left over DSP and you could easily make a small batch of them for multiple gifts.

I hope you enjoy making this project.  Please see the links below for product details which you can purchase direct from my shop.
