Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Timeless Tulips - My Favourite Stampin' Up! Bundle

Today I am taking part in a blog hop and this is the first one I've done for Stamp n Hop.  I'll leave links to the other participants below so please go and visit them and see what a talented lot we have in this group

I've chosen the Timeless Tulips Bundle which is made up of the Timeless Tulips stamp and coordinating punch

And this is the card I made with this bundle

The card base is made from Whisper White cardstock and measures 8¼" x 5⅞" scored on the long side at 4⅛"

Next, I have a layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock measuring 5¾" x 4" and I stuck that onto the white cardbase with liquid glue.

I wanted a nice bright yellow for my tulips and I've chosen Daffodil Delight ink and I've stamped my tulip stamp onto Daffodil Delight cardstock.  I stamped 3 of these and punched them out with the punch

I used Pear Pizzaz cardstock and ink for the stems and fussy cut them

I arranged the tulips and checked that I was happy with how they looked before I stuck them down.  The stems and outer tulips were stuck down with liquid glue and the middle tulip was stuck down with mini dimensionals to raise it slightly and add some dimension.

I like to add a little sparkle to my projects and I put some random rhinestones on the card

I took some ribbon in Bumblebee, tied a bow and stuck it to the stems so it looked like the tulips were hand tied.

Finally, I stamped the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment onto Daffodil Delight cardstock with Misty Moonlight ink and stuck this to the bottom of the card with dimensionals

I hope you like my project - its one of my favourite colour combos and its a really easy make.
