Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Best Dressed Fussy Cut DSP on a Mother's Day Card

Image may contain: text

Hello everyone - today is blog hop day and I'm taking part in Team Scrimpy Blog Hop in celebratioin of the new Mini Catalogue and Saleabration.  This is my contribution and at the bottom of this blog post are details of everyone hopping so please visit their blogs and spread some love.

Here's my project for the blog hop

I started with a piece whisper white cardstock measuring 7" x 6" and I scored on the long side at 3" to form my card base.

I used the Best Dressed DSP and chosen my favourite prints from the range.  The green striped paper measures 5¾" x 3¾" and I stuck this to the inside of the card

The pink paper measures 5¾" x 2¾" and I stuck this to the front of the card

I fussy cut some lipstick, make up wands, perfume and lotions from the Best Dressed DSP paper stack

I punched out some circles - one in Pretty Peacock foil with the 2¼" circle punch and another in Whisper White with the 2" circle punch.

Using the Timeless Tulip stamp, I used Pretty Peacock ink and stamped on the white circle punch and then stuck both circles on the card using stampin' mini dimensionals.

The final step was to stick the fussy cut pieces onto the edge of the front of the card.

Thank you to my lovely crafty friend Vickie Lou Designs for organising our blog hop - I'm already looking forward to the next one.

See you soon
Donna
