No Designer Series Paper? No Problem - Create Your Own With Simple Stamping

I've been inspired to do more stamping and not relying so much on using Designer Series Paper. It really pushes your creativity and allows you to really play with the stamps and ink. You just need a moment of bravery. Here's what I made with the To A Wild Rose stamp and two shades of green ink

I don't stamp anywhere near as much as I would like to, mainly because I'm a little bit scared of it but today I was determined to give it a go. Here's my YouTube video showing you how I did it

I used a cardbase of Whisper White cardstock but you could use any colour you like depending on the ink colour you're using. My cardbase measures 5⅞ x 4⅛" and I've got a layer of green card measuring 5¾" x 4"

The layer of white cardstock that I stamped on measures 5⅝" x 3⅞"

I used Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive for my leaves but you can just let the creativity flow and choose what ever colours you like. I think I'd like to try this again but with some more Autumnal colours like Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake or Soft Suede.
