Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Monochrome Theme for Share It on a Sunday

It was my turn to choose the theme for this week's share it on a Sunday and I chose monochrome.  The definition of monochrome according to Google

So I chose Pacific Point and and used first and second-generation stamping to create this card.

My card base measures 4⅛" x 11¾" and scored on the long side at 5⅞"

I then have a layer of Pacific Points card - I love this blue - it's so vibrant and so bright.  This measures 5⅝" x 3⅞"and then I'd stamped on a white card layer that measures 3⅜" x 5⅛"

I used the the Swirly Frames stamp set for the circles and I've achieved different shades of the same colour (Pacific Point) by stamping once and then stamping a second time without re-inking

I've used the layering circle dies to create the two inner circles in Pacific Point and Very Vanilla.  These dies come in many different sizes so I just use use the size of die that fitted my my sentiment.  The sentiment came from Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and I think this card will suit any occasion whether it's a celebration, a good luck card, a birthday card, anything and because of the colouring I really like this if you were making a card for a teenager.  There's very little choice of cards for teenage boys so I really like this

I've left the links to Karen and Victoria's blogs here be sure to to click on these and see what they've made.
