Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Share It On A Sunday - Masculine Themed Card with Well Suited

Its Share It On A Sunday and today Victoria, Karen and myself are creating a project with a masculine theme.  I've gone quite simple today and for me is about the colours

I've used a mixture of Night of Navy, Balmy Blue and Pretty Peacock with a bit of black and some braided trim.

My card base in Pretty Peacock measures 11 1/2" x 4 1/8" and I've scored on the long side at 5 3/4" to give me a tent fold card base

I've then got a piece of Night of Navy cardstock measuring 5 3/4" x 2" and a piece of Well Suited DSP measuring 5 5/8" x 1 7/8".  I've stuck the two together and then wrapped some braided trim around this.

Using a 1 1/2" circle punch, I've punched out a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and stamped a sentiment from 'A Good Man' stamp set in Night of Navy ink.  This is stuck over the braided trim using mini stampin' dimensionals.  I've also added a few matt black dots to the card.

I've got two more circles using the circle punches.  Night of Navy card punched out using the 2 1/4" circle punch and a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock stamped with Birthday Wishes from 'Fancy Phrases' stamp set and punched out using the 2" circle punch.  These are layered together with mini stampin' dimensionals and then stuck to the card

I'm really pleased how the colours went together - wasn't something I was sure about when I started this project.

I'll leave a list of all of the products I've used below which will link directly to my shop.  Head over to Karen and Victoria's blogs and see what they have made
