Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Christmas in July with Whimsy & Wonder by Stampin' Up!

Hello and this week's theme for Share It On A Sunday its 'Christmas in July'.  Stampin' Up!'s new mini catalogue goes live on 3rd August along with Saleabration and there is a gorgeous selection of papers to choose from.

I'm using the Whimsy & Wonder designer series paper which has a unique style of its own and will make very stylish Christmas cards.

The first card I made is a fun fold card inspired by Buckeye Inkling.

Here are the dimensions and I'll leave a link to the YouTube video I made showing you how to make these cards

Blushing Bride cardstock measuring 8½" x 5½" scored on the long side at 2", 3⅛", 5⅜" and 6½"
The two central folds are mountain folds and the two outer folds are valley folds.

The central piece of DSP 2" x 5¼" and the two outer pieces measure 1⅞" x 5¼"

The sentiment sits on two pieces of scrap card and this is the same for all three cards:  3" x 1" and 2⅞" x ⅞".  I rounded the corners off using the Detailed Trio Punch and stamped in Misty Moonlight from the Best Year stamp set.

Here's my second card

This is very simple.  I've got a Thick Basic White cardbase measuring 8¼" x 5¾".  Score on the longside at 4⅛"

I've then got a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock measuring 5⅝" x 4" and on top of this stuck a piece of the Whimsy & Wonder DSP on top.  This measures 5½" x 3⅞".  The sentiment is the same as the first card

Finally, using the scrap of mint macaron and dsp I had left, I made this

I've got the same white card base as the previous card but the mint macaron card layer measures 5⅝" x 2" and DSP layer measures 5½" x 1⅞".  I've rounded the opposite ends of all the DSP and card layers.

Here's my YouTube video showing you how I made these cards
