Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Mini catalogue sneak peek - Gorgeous Leaves

It's the last Saturday of the month and that can only mean one thing:  its the Stampin' Birds Blog Hop.

I've made a card using the Gorgeous Leaves bundle that will make its debut in the new mini catalogue that launches on 3rd August 2021.

I've started with a piece of thick Very Vanilla cardstock and this measures 11½" x 4⅛" .  Its scored on the long side at 5¾"

I've stuck a piece of Beauty of the Earth DSP on top of the card (I've chosen a landscape view).  This piece of DSP measures 5⅝" x 4"

With a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock measuring 2½" x 4⅛", I've stamped the speckled stamp from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set all over this piece of card.  I've used Crushed Curry ink.  I've also wrapped Simply Elegant trim in gold around the card before sticking it to the DSP

Using the Intricate Leaves dies, I've die cut two leaves, one in Cajun Craze and the other in Garden Green

I've stuck these two leaves to the front of the card and added a rhinestone.

I've stamped 'Happy Birthday' from the Shaded Summer stamp set in Cajun Craze onto Very Vanilla.  Using the double oval punch, I've punched out the scalloped oval in Cajun Craze and the small oval is for the sentiment.

I stuck these together with mini stampin' dimensionals and then stuck this to the front of the card.  Finally using the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set, I've stamped some leaves in Cajun Craze into the inside of the card.  The sentiment comes from Tranquil Throughts stamp set.

And here's another look at the finished card

Next in the hop is Karen.  Click on "Next" to see what she's been working on.
