Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

A Vintage Themed Card with Wildflower Path

Hello and thank you for dropping by.  Today I'm taking part in the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop with the Crafty Collaborations group and the technique we are showcasing is 'Vintage'.  Here's my card

Its not a style of crafting I use much but I always like to step out of my comfort zone and I certainly have with this one.  After taking some inspiration from Pinterest this is how I put my card together.

My card base is from a piece of Early Espresso cardstock measuring 11½" x 4⅛" scored on the longside at 5¾"

Next up is a piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock that I've trimmed down to 5⅝" x 4" and put through the 3D Bricks & Mortar embossing folder.

Before gluing this brick layer onto my card base, I daubed some Early Espresso ink over the brick design to 'age' it

Taking a piece of Very Vanilla card, I used a sponge brayer and Cinnamon Cider ink and gently rolled ink onto the card before stamping, also in Cinnamon Cider ink, a sentiment from the Wildflower Path stamp set.

I wrapped some Early Espresso ribbon around this piece of card and layered this with a piece of Blushing Bride card placing it at a bit of an angle.

The Blushing Bride card measures 4⅛" x 3⅛" and the Very Vanilla card measures 4" x 3"

The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from Wildflower Path stamp set and I've stamped this in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla card die cut from the Stitched Rectangles dies.  I die cut Blushing Bride card from the same sized die

These two small rectangles are placed in the middle of the card horizontally level with both the top and bottom of the card.
