Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Stampaversary Double Product Blog Hop - Artistically Inked Paper and Shaded Summer Dies

I'm taking part in a product hop with Crafty Karen Designs and Vickie Lou Designs today as we are celebrating our Stampaversaries with Stampin' Up!

We're showcasing the Artistically Ink designer series paper and the Shaded Summer stamp set.

Here's what I made with Shaded Summer

I've used a standard card base measuring 8¼" x 5¾" scored on the long side at 4⅛".  I've used the Scalloped Contour dies and die cut one scalloped rectangle in Night of Navy and another from a Blue piece of Simply Marbleous designer series paper which is currently free with a £45 spend.

I've stamped one of the main flower stamps in black although now I wish I'd stamped it in Night of Navy and I've added a sentiment at the top - nice and simple.

My projects using the Artistically Inked Designer Series paper is a total contrast

The card is made from a card base measuring 8¼" x 5¾" scored on the long side at 4⅛".  I've got some layers going on:

5⅝" x 4" (designer series paper)
5½" x 2⅛" (Polished Pink card)
5⅜" x 2" (designer series paper)

I've used some scrap of Polished Pink and Basic white for the heart in the middle and I've used the Happy Birthday sentiment from Peaceful Moments and stamped this in Polished Pink.

The box is made out of Polished Pink card and measures 5" x 1¾".  Its holding a nice piece of Swiss chocolate inside!!

Start with a piece of card measuring 6½" x 5½".  On the long side, score at each end at ¾" and then on the short side score at 1¾", 2½", 3¼" and 5".

On the long side cut up the score lines to the first horizontal score line.  These form the top and bottom flaps.  The ½" rectangle at one end of the short side is the tab that sticks to the other side to form the box.

Two pieces of DSP measuring 4⅞" x 1⅝" have been stuck to the box before tying the whole thing together with gold ribbon.
