Floating Card Tutorial with Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper

Today, I'm taking part in the Crafty Collaborators Share It Sunday blog hop and I've got something quite different today Something caught my eye while I was scrolling through Pinterest and I found a floating card. I had to have a go and this is what I came up with I've created a YouTube tutorial showing you how I put it together and here are the all important dimensions Card base: 28cm x 14cm scored on the long side at 7cm and 21cm Side Panels: Card x 2 - 13.5cm x 6.5cm - DSP x 2 - 13cm x 6cm Middle Panel: 13.5cm x 13.5cm Floating Panels: Card x 2 - 7cm x 7cm - DSP x 2 - 6.5cm x 6.5cm 'Floaters' - Card x 2 - 16cm x 3cm scored at 3cm, 11cm and 14cm and marked at 5cm Front Panels: same as side panels I hope that makes sense - here is the YouTube tutorial showing you how I made it. Dutch Door Style Card in Beauty of the Earth Paper

Today I have made a Dutch door style card for Share It On a Sunday. The theme this week is new catalogue products and I'm using Beauty of the Earth designer series paper teamed with Evening Evergreen card on a white card base I've started with a card base measuring 8¼" x 5¾" scored on the longside at 4⅛". From the middle of the card, I measured down 2¾" from the top of the card and cut away a section from the front of the card I used this cutaway section to layer with Evening Evergreen card stock measuring 2⅝" x 4" and then put a layer of the Beauty of the Earth designer series paper 2½" x 3⅞" I used the wood effect paper from the collection and stuck this onto the bottom half of the front of my card. This piece measures 2⅞" x 4" Next I decorated the inside of the card I took two pieces of card one in Evening Evergreen measuring 4" x 5⅝" and then a piece of B

Joy Fold Card with New Product for 2021

Hello and thank you for stopping by to see my latest project. Today, I'll be showcasing some gorgeous new product that will be ready to buy on 5th January. I'm using the Fine Art Floral and Oh So Ombre Paper and I'm making a Joyfold Card recently featured by Crafty Karen Desgins. Karen has given me permission to CASE her. Here's the card I made My cardbase is in Blackberry Bliss from the Regals collection. You need one piece measuring 4¼" x 9⅜" scored on the longside at 6¼" and another measuring 8½" x 3¼" scored on the longside at 4¼" Take a piece of Very Vanilla and trim it down to 4" x 3". This is going on the inside of the card as follows and stamp your sentiment on it. I've used the 'Happy - little bit late - Birthday" sentiment in the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set. I've stamped this in Blackberry Bliss On the front of this piece I've stuck a piece of Fine Art Floral DSP also measuring 4" x 3
