Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Card tutorial for all your beginner card crafters

Here's a card that is completely suitable for beginners.  Even if you've never made a card - ever!!  Click HERE to see the YouTube tutorial

You'll need a 6" x 4" card.  I've used a white card but you could use any colour you like.  In the tutorial I used night of navy card stock measuring 5.75" x 4" and I cut another piece of cardstock in Whisper White measuring 5.25" x 3.5".  I chose some DSP from the Twinkle Twinkle DSP collection.  I specifically chose this because its not as 'girly' and pretty as other DSP I've been using recently.  I cut 4 pieces of DSP measuring 1.5" x 2 3/8" and stuck these on the whisper white cardstock in a grid design.

Once you've made a few of these, you could get creative and use different grid designs.  Finally I punched out two circles - one 2" circle in night of navy and the other in whisper white measuring 1.75".

On the white card I stamped my sentiment.  I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set and stamped 'Happy Birthday To You' in night of navy ink.  These circles were stuck onto the middle of the card using mini dimensionals.

You could get a really good production line going with these and make a whole year's worth of cards in one go.

Come and have a browse around my shop at
