Forever Lovely Gift Box

I love making gift boxes - they really give that personal touch. This box is a really straightforward rectangular box finished with a pretty sentiment.

I started with some Flirty Flamingo cardstock which measure 7.5" x 8.5". On the long side I scored at 1.75" and 6.75". On the short side, I scored at 1.75", 3.5", 5.25" and 7". After scoring, I folded and burnished all my scorelines.

See the video to see where I formed the tab and flaps. Before constructing the box, I cut out some rectangles from the All My Love DSP. Each rectangle measures 1 5/8" x 4 7/8" and I stuck these onto the box making sure the rectangles were as central as possible.

I used Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo cardstock to create a layered label which holds the ribbon in place. I used a sentiment from the Forever Lovely stamp set and stamped this in Lovely Lipstick. The label was held in place using mini dimensionals.
