Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Team Scrimpy Blog Hop

Here's my project I've chosen to show case for the Team Scrimpy Blog Hop.  The theme for our blog hop is Spring Summer 2019 and I've chosen to use the Gingham Gala designer series paper and the Piece of Cake stamp set with matching punch

This card was inspired by a crafter called Carol Lovenstein and the measurements of all the card and DSP are as follows:

Each of the Gingham Gala pieces measure 1" x 3.75"
Highland Heather cardstock measures 2 1/8" x 2 5/8"
Whisper White cardstock 2" x 2.5" and 0.75" x 2.25"

I stamped the cake stand and cake onto whisper white cardstock using Memento ink and punched out the images using the cake builder punch

This project gave me a good excuse to use my stampin' blends to colour the icing on the cake and some of the cake stand and the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment (also in the Piece of Cake stamp set) was stamped using Highland Heather ink.

I used mini stampin' dimensional to attach the cake and stand onto the card.

I hope you enjoy it and it inspires you to have a go.

Happy crafting

Donna x
