Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Inspired by Pinterest - Trying Out a Butterfly Themed Card

I often use Pinterest for inspiration when I'm stuck for what to make and there is a design that popped up again and again.  I knew one day I'd have a go at it and finally here it is and day 13 of the #31dayscraftchallenge

I love the concept of the butterflies fluttering out the box as it opens.  I've used Very Vanilla and Calypso Coral cardstock and the Butterfly Gala stamp set with coordinating punch.  I've also created a YouTube tutorial for this project and here's the link to it

My cardbase measures 5⅞" x 8¼" and this has been scored on the long side at 4⅛"
The calypso coral layer measure 5¾" x 4"

The box is made up of two pieces of very vanilla cardstock that has been embossed using the Hammered Metal embossing folder and the box measures 2" x 1½" and the lid measures 1" x ¼"

All the other instructions are on the video but if there's anything you need clarifying, just leave a comment below.

I'm also leaving the links to all the products I've used - these links go direct to my shop

I hope you enjoyed this project - its amazing what can inspire you from Pinterest

See you soon
