My First Every Papercraft Project - A Handbag Gift Bag

When I first started papercrafting a few years ago, I used to roam around YouTube looking for projects to make.  I discovered May May, an American crafter and she had a tutorial on how to make super cute gift bags in the shape of handbags. I wanted to have another go at making these bags again and this is what I came up with

I decided to make a video showing me making one of these bags and I'd forgotten just how cute they are and how easy they are to make

Why not have a go at making one yourself.  You need one 6" x 6" sheet of DSP - I've used Golden Honey DSP.  You'll need a contrasting piece of DSP measuring 1¾" x 2½".  I rounded the edged at one end.

The handles need two small pieces of cardstock/DSP measuring 5" x ¼"

One the large piece of DSP score on one side at 2¼" and 3¾" and then turn 90 degrees and score at 1¾" x 4¼".  Then just follow the directions on the video.

I must have made hundreds of other projects since I first made this gift box but its always nice to come back to where you started.
