Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Simple Stamping for Beginners with Inspiring Iris

I've managed to get to the end of a very busy week.  I've been trying to teach my accountancy students remotely and its been tricky at times but lovely to touch base with them again.  I've treated myself to a little bit of craft time and decided to make something really simple using the Inspiring Iris stamp.  This project is part of a blog hop so please be sure to visit everyone else on the list at the end of this blog.  So here's the project I made

Its super simple and just requires a Whisper White card base measuring 11¾" x 8¼" and a layer of Melon Mambo cardstock measuring 5⅝" x 3⅞" and then another layer of white cardstock measuring 5" x 3½"

I used the white layer to stamp on and I used the Inspiring Iris stamp set.  The flower was stamped in Old Olive

and then stamped the flower colour in Melon Mambo

I then took two pieces of card stock:  Melon Mambo measuring 2¼" x 1¼"  and whisper white measuring 2⅛" x 1⅛".  I used the Whisper White cardstock to stamp my sentiment: 'You Are Somebody Who Makes Everybody Feel Like Somebody'.  I think they are beautiful words

I layered these using mini stamping dimensionals and stuck them to the top of my card

Don't forget to drop in and look at the other blogs in the hop.  We have some talented crafters in our group.

Happy craftin'
