In my Facebook live in which I showcased the World of Good DSP, I kicked off with a Father's Day card tutorial using lots of layering
The layering is relatively simple and I will list all the measurements below. However, to help you along, I've made a YouTube video to show you how to put this together. In my video I'm making a slightly different version but the measurements and layout are exactly the same.
Here are all the dimensions you need
Card base (Soft Suede) 10" x 7" scored on long side at 5"
Gold foil: 2 pieces 1¾" x 1¾" and one piece 3" x 3"
DSP: 2 pieces 1⅝" x 1⅝" and one piece 2⅞" x 2⅞"
For the Sentiment
Soft Suede: 3" x ¾"
Smoky Slade 2⅞" x ⅝"
You can use this layout for any paper - I've made it before in floral prints and it's ideal for a more feminine card.
Thank you for stopping by and please subscribe to this blog if you'd like to receive notifications of all future projects. I try and post a tutorial 2 or three times a week.
