Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Share It On A Sunday Peony Garden Showcase

For today's Share It On A Sunday, Karen, Victoria and myself are all using the same designer series paper: Peony Garden.

I've chosen to make a 3D project and I've made a box.  I've made a box like this before and I couldn't resist making another one as they are so cute.  I particularly love the contrast of the black against the grey.

Start with a piece of cardstock for base measuring 7" x 7" and score on each side at 2"

No description available.

Cut out bits of the card as follows so you can form tabs to hold all the box together

No description available.

On the outside of the box, stick tear 'n tape on the right on the score lines and another piece slightly lower

Fold the tabs into the inside of each side of the box and make sure the edge of the side meets the score line of the tab

Next, with a piece of 6" x 6" DSP, score on each side at ½" and 1½" with a shim of card wedged up against the side of the score board

No description available.

Cut on the score lines and apply adhesive as follows

No description available.

Remove the backing of the adhesive and fold the tabs into the sides of the lid and then fold down the top tabs

A recent YouTube tutorial of mine shows all the above techniques if you need some help
