Trimming The Town Christmas Card Idea

Even though its August, the new Autumn Winter catalogue has very recently gone live and its put me in the mood to make a few Christmas cards.  Here, I'm using Trimming the Town DSP and its so cute.  I've followed a sketch for this card as part of our #33sketches challenge

This is the sketch I followed and I found this on www.cardztv.blogspot.com

My measurements are slightly different from the sketch above.

Whisper White cardstock: 8¼" x 5⅞" scored down the longside at 4⅛"
Pear Pizzazz cardstock: 5¾" x 4"
Real Red cardstock: 5½" x 3¾"

No description available.

Two strips of DSP: one measures 1½" x 4" and the other 1⅜" x 3⅞" place horizontally across the bottom half of the card

No description available.

3 rectangles, two in cardstock and one in DSP

Pear Pizzazz: 2½" x 2"
Real Red: 2⅜" x 1⅞"
DSP: 2¼" x 1¾"

No description available.

For the sentiment, I have a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 2½" x ¾" and stamped the 'A Very Merry Christmas' from Gift Wrapped Stamp Set in Real Red

And a reminder of the finished card - super simple and perfect for the beginner crafter.

I'll be back again tomorrow with another project and this time its a 3D project.

See you soon

  1. Christmas spirit is allways alive - it doesn't matter which part of the year is. I like your project.
