Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Case a Stampin' Bird for Share It On A Sunday

For Share It On A Sunday this week, the Stampin' Birds are CASEing each other. I've chosen one of Crafty Karen Designs projects from May.  From the outside, it looks like an ordinary card but when you open it, it has a lovely pop up feature.

Start with a standard card base measuring 8.25" by 5 7/8" and score on the long side at 4 1/8"

I've used Flowers for Every Season designer series paper and chosen a piece for the front and two pieces for the middle.  Each of them measure 5.75" x 4" and they're stuck to the front and inside with liquid glue.

For the pop up section in the middle, you'll need a piece of whisper white cardstock measuring 5" x 3". Score on the long side at 1/2", 2" and 4.5"

You'll need two pieces of DSP to decorate this piece of white card. They measure 2 7/8" x 1 7/8".

The sentiment is stamped on a piece of white card measuring 2.75" x 1.75".

The other side is decorated with stamped punched flowers.

Once you have decorated the pop up, make all the folds mountain folds and put some liquid glue onto the half inch rectangles.  Stick these centrally to the inside of the card.  Let this dry.

I used the Heart Duo punches to create the front sentiment in white and Misty Moonlight card.

The final touch is created with little rhinestones.

Please go and visit Victoria and Karen to see what they've made.  Victoria is CASEing me and Karen is CASEing Victoria.  Here are their links

Looking to be back during the week with some more crafty inspiration for you.
