Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Simple Embossed Card with Forever Blossoms and Brick & Mortar

Today I wanted to do something nice and simple - I've stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla, coloured the image in with Stampin' Blends and then embossed the card. It added a little bit of texture and interest to the card.

Firstly, you need a card base.  Mine is in Very Vanilla and measures 11¾" x 4⅛" and scored on the long side at 5⅞"

The next layer is Highland Heather and measures 5¾" x 4"

The Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped on measures 5½" x 3¾".  I used the Forever Blossoms stamp set and stamped the blossom image in Sahara Sand and coloured the leaves and flowers in Light Old Olive and Light Highland Heather.

I passed the card through the Big Shot using the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder and then stuck this card layer onto the Highland Heather layer.

Finally, using scraps of Highland Heather and Very Vanilla, I stamped the 'Get Well Soon' sentiment from Healing Hugs stamp set in Highland Heather and punched out in 2½" and 2" circle punch.

This is super simple to do and you don't need to colour the image - you could choose your own favourite stamp and stamp images in a variety of colours.  Just embossed the card after you've decorated it and mount it onto a card.

I'm back later in the week with a Christmas card (never can be too organised)

See you soon
