Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Friday Night Crafting with my Birds

The one thing I love about being part of Stampin' Up! is the wonderful friends I've made and none are more closer (or crazier) to me than the lovely Karen from CraftyKarenDesigns and Victoria from Vickie Lou Designs.

This week we decided to craft together over Zoom for a few hours on Friday evening.  I suggested we start with a colour challenge and we each chose a colour.  I chose Rich Razzleberry, Victoria chose Bumblebee and Karen chose Old Olive.  All I could think was 'really???' but I'm surprised at how well the colours went together.  Here's my card

I used a cardbase in Whisper White measuring 11¾" x 4⅛" scored on the long side at 5⅞".
The next layer of card is in Rich Razzleberry and this measures 5¾" x 4"
The stamped white layer measures 5½" x 3¾"

I've used the Field of Flowers stamp set which is a perfect stamp set to use if you are a new stamper.  I stamped the grass in Old Olive and the flowers in Bumblebee.  The sentiment has been stamped in Rich Razzleberry.

Look how gorgeous these colours are together - I never would have thought that before I started making this card
