Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Stamp n Hop December 2020 Christmas Blog Hop

Today I'm taking part in the Stamp 'n Hop December Christmas blog and you may have arrived from Caroline Peck's blog.  My name's Donna Lester and I'm a crafter from the UK.  Today I've made a Twisted Easel card.  The papers in the card may not necessarily be traditionally Christmassy but I love the scene that this paper creates.  I do hope you enjoy my project

I started with a card base measuring 11¾" x 5⅞" scored down the long side at 5⅞".   I also added another score line as follows

On a piece of card measuring 5¾" x 5¾", I stuck a piece of DSP measuring 5⅜" x 5⅜"

This needs to be stuck to the card like this (the score line of the card is pointing up, if that helps)

Then DSP measuring 5¾" x 5¾" is stuck to the base of the card

For the front of the card, I've got some card measuring 5½" x 2½" and a piece of DSP over that measuring 5⅜" x 2⅜"

I fussy cut some of the images from the DSP pack and stuck these using mini stampin' dimensionals.  Then this layer was stuck to the front of my card

I've used two pieces of card for the sentiment.  One measures 3½" x 1½" and the other measures 3⅜" x 1⅜".  I stamped on the lighter, smaller piece of card in navy ink and stuck this down with mini stampin' dimensionals

The sentiment is stuck in front of the 'twisted' part of the card to make it stand up

And here's a close up of the paper on the front of the card

I really hope you like the card and I've left links to all the products used right at the bottom of this blog post.  In the meantime, pop along and see what Victoria has made by clicking on the button below

Thank you for joining me and I look forward to seeing you very soon.
