Grey and Blue Colour Combo with Masking

Today I have a card in muted colours using grey and blue and white and I'm really enjoying this colour combination

I've got 3 pieces of card: 

Grey Granite 8¼" x 5⅞" 

Night of Navy 5¾" x 4"

Basic White 5⅝" x 3⅞"

I masked off the middle section which is 2" from the top and 2" from the bottom of the card.  I used strips of post-it notes to do this.

I stamped a selection of floral and leafy designs from a selection of stamp sets Daisy Lane and Basket of Blooms. You could use whatever stamps you like depending on what effect you like.  I've used Night of Navy and Gray Granite ink.

All I did then was remove the mask and then stamp the birthday sentiments.  The birthday sentiment comes from Fancy Phrases and this was stamped in Night of Navy

All I did then was then layer everything onto the grey card and job done
