Hello and today I'm taking part in the Ink Stamp Share January Blog Hop with the theme of Spring/Summer Saleabration 2021
I've made a double gatefold card and I've been inspired by Lisa Curcio from the US. Here's my take on her card using Spring/Summer supplies. I've used Hydrangea Hill DSP with Very Vanilla card.
Start by taking a piece of DSP that measures 11¼" x 5¼" and score on the long side at 1⅞", 3¾", 7½" and 9⅜"
On the outside edge of the DSP, measure down 2½" and make a small mark and measure up and make a small mark. Cut from the mark up to the top of the next score line and shown in the diagram. Fold your DSP to make a gatefold.
With the triangles you've just removed from the previous step, stick these to the inside of your card. If your DSP is light enough, you should be able to write straight onto this. If it is dark, stick a piece of light coordinating card so that you can write your message.
Using a selection of card and DSP, I cut out 3 squares: 3", 2⅞" and 2¾" and rounded all the corners. I layered them on the diagonal.
I stamped my sentiment in Highland Heather using the Hydrangea Havevn stamp set
Using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, I stuck my layered squares onto the left hand gate of the card
Finally, I mounted the back of the card onto a piece of cardstock measuring 5¼" x 4"
I made another version using different DSP from the same collection and Monogram Messages for the sentiment
I've left links to all the products I've used and you'll find them at the end of this article. In the meantime, head over to Victoria's blog to see what she's been making by clicking 'Next'
