Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights - Thank You with Paper Blooms

Hello everyone and I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas and delightful New Year - lets hope that 2021 is a better year for us all because, let's face it, 2020 has been tough.

I've been inspired by two people for this card.  Firstly, my very old (not in years) friend who has worked in the NHS here in the UK for many years and has worked tirelessly during these difficult times.  This card is for her.

I've also been inspired by my lovely friend Karen from CraftyKarenDesigns who recently featured this card on her YouTube channel and I wanted to give it a go myself for this blog hop

I've started off with two pieces of cardstock - I've chosen Petal Pink - and they both measure 10" x 7".  On both pieces, I've scored the long side at 2½" and 5"

Shave a 'smidge' off the edge of one of the card pieces and place this on top of the other piece and stick it down.  Shaving a tiny piece of the edge helps the card 'fit'

Now you're ready to decorate.  Your paper panels measure as follows:

Middle:  6¾" x 4¾"
Side and front panels:  6¾" x 2¼"

I'm using the Paper Blooms DSP which is free when you spend £45 from 5th January to 28th February 2021.

Using the layering circle dies, I've die cut the largest scalloped circle in Night of Navy card and the next smallest circle in basic white.  I've stamped the 'Thank You So Very Much' sentiment on the white circle and stuck this to the navy circle using mini stampin' dimensionals before adding some Elegant Faceted Gems to the sentiment

Being careful to add mini stampin' dimensionals to only one half of the back of the circle, I stuck this to the left hand side of the card

Thank you for dropping by and visiting my blog.  If you like what you see and you'd like to subscribe, there is a link at the top of the page.  I'd be really grateful if you'd vote for me.  Click on the circle to vote:

See you again soon
