Hello and for this week's Share It On A Sunday, Karen, Victoria and myself are making gift bags. I've already made one masculine themed project this weekend so I thought I'd make a masculine gift bag.
The bag is made up of a whole sheet of 12" x 12" DSP - all I've done is take half an inch off one side
With the paper vertically on the scoreboard score at 1½", 5½", 7" and 11"
Turn the paper 90° clockwise and score at 1½"
Turn the paper 180° and score at half inch intervals 7 times.
Cut away sections as shown in the photo
On the outside of the paper apply some Tear n Tape along the tab as close to the score line as possible.
Form the box by joining the outside edge to the score line of the tab (where you have just applied the Tear n Tape).
Before you form the bottom of the box, consertina the half inch score lines you added earlier
Then form the bottom by bringing in the side flaps the front flap and using Tear n Tape stick the final flap in place.
Finally, to put all of this together, I stuck the sentiment onto the front of the bag with mini stampin' dimensionals on the sides of the sentiment only. Cinnamon Cider ribbon runs through this and ties at the top holding the consertina down.
