Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Sand & Sea Layered Card - Fussy Cutting Shells

I've got another layered card today - it seems to have been a week of layered cards! But I like using that technique to create some interest in what can be a very flat card.  Today I'm using the new Sand & Sea DSP with some coordinating card stock and this is what I've come up with

This paper is so pretty - I love the mixture of the blues and the pinks and the yellows - it's really subtle.  Here's what you need to make this card

Basic White card: 4⅛" x 11¾" (scored on the long side at 5⅞")
So Saffron card:  2¼" x  5⅞"
Sand & Sea DSP: 2" x 5⅞"

I've fussy cut some shells from one of the papers.  This was quite straightforward to do with a pair of snips and a bit of patience.

I've also got two circles punched out using the 2¼" (Rococo Rose) and 2" (So Saffron) circle punches.

So I layered everything up and prepared my two circles.  I stamped Happy Birthday from the the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set and I stamped this in Seaside Spray ink.

I layered these with mini stampin' dimensionals and I stuck the shells onto the card with mini stampin' dimensionals.

I used the the Elegant Faceted Gems to finish the card off and there's your finished card.  It really straightforward to make and you could make a few of these in one go if you spent a little bit of time fussy cutting some shells.  You can have several cards made in no time.

So I hope you enjoy this project and I'll leave the links to all of the products that I've used and these links go directly to my shop.
