Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Pootlers Mini Catalogue Blog Hop February 2021

Today I'm taking part in the Pootlers Blog Hop and we're showcasing items from the Spring/Summer mini catalogue

I've made a box using the Snail Mail designer series paper and I've teamed this with Flirty Flamingo and Bermuda Bay cardstock.

I've created a YouTube video that goes with this project

You'll need the following:

For the box Bermuda Bay cardstock: 11½" x 8¼" - score on the longside at 2¾", 5½", 8¼" and 11".  Score on the short side at 2¾" and 7½"

For the lid Bermuda Bay cardstock: 4¼" x 2¾" scored on the long side at ¾" and 3½"

Flirty Flamingo cardstock: 4 pieces measuring 4½" x 2½" and one piece measuring 2½" x 2½"

Snail Away DSP: 4 pieces measuring 4⅜" x 2⅜" and one piece measuring 2⅜" x 2⅜"

Stick the DSP onto the Flirty Flamingo panels and then stick the panels onto the panels of the box.  Stick some Tear n Tape onto the tab and form the box by stick the tab into the inside of the box.  Close the flaps at the bottom and seal with Tear n Tape or liquid glue.

The lid is formed by stick the tab to the inside back of the box.  Finish off by punching a thumb space out of the front.

I decorated by box with two circles.  One in Bermuda Bay and the other in Flirty Flamingo.  I punched these out using the 2¼" and 2" circle punches.

I fussy cut some of the speech bubbles out and stuck these to the outside of the circles and finished off with some rhinestones.  The sentiment is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink and the sentiment comes from Fancy Phrases stamp set.

In the meantime, click on each of the other hoppers and see what gorgeous projects they've made.  There are two pages of these so please be sure to hop over to page 2
