At the moment, I'm enjoying a two week break from work and it gives me a great opportunity to get crafting. I'm trying to use up some designer series paper that will be retiring in the next few weeks as I hate to see it go to waste.
Today, I've made a concertina style card with a masculine theme. I'm using the 'In Good Taste' DSP together with Night of Navy cardstock.
You'll need the following:
Thick Basic White cardstock measuring 6" x 3⅛"
Night of Navy cardstock 6" x 10" (score at 3", 5", 8½" and 10")
3 pieces of DSP - 5¾" x 2¾", 5 ¾" x 1¾" and 5¾" x 1¼"
2 pieces of Basic White - 5 ¾" x 1⅞" and 5 ¾" x 1¼"
Scraps of Night of Navy and Basic White
Fancy Phrases and Best Year stamp sets
Label Me Lovely punch
Braided Trim
Here's the YouTube tutorial that goes with this blog post that shows you how to put this card together
I hope you've been inspired and might give this card a go. Try it with any colour card and coordinating designer series paper.
