So whenever anyone mentions a colour challenge, I get a bit nervous as I really end up stepping out of my comfort zone.
Here are the colours for my Team's Colour Challenge this week
Where to start? The first thing I need to is choose a stamp set and I think for this colour challenge I need something floral with a bit of leaf (goes off to have a hunt on the stamp set shelf)
I've come up with Tasteful Touches and Pretty Perenials and here is my finished card
My card base is in Crushed Curry cardstock and measures 8¼" x 5¾". Next, I have a layer of Basic White which measures 5½" x 3⅞"
With some scrap white card, I've punched out a 2" circle and I stamped around this using Pear Pizzazz ink and a leaf stamp from the Tasteful Touches stamp set. I stamped once and then again before reinking my stamp which gives a really subtle touch to the design
I've punched out a 2¼" circle in Crushed Curry and stuck this in the middle of my card. Using a fresh piece of Basic White card I've stamped 'You Are So Special' which is also from the Tasteful Touches stamp set.
Now, I need to get some Gorgeous Grape into this card and I need some flowers. I've used the Pretty Perenials stamp set and stamped the flowers in Gorgeous Grape. I fussy cut them out, stuck them to my card using dimensionals and finished off the flower with some rhinestones.
I've left links to all the products I've used and these link directly to my shop. Anyone who shops with me will receive free product so please don't forget to use April 2021 host code which you'll find at the top of this blog
Thank you for stopping by and if you'd like to subscribe to my blog, I'd be very grateful. The link is at the top of this page
See you soon
