Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Mixing the Old with the New with Heart and Home and Garden Green Card

Today I'm taking part in the Stamp n Hop blog hop and today the theme is Mixing the Old with the New.  I'm use Heart & Home designer series paper from the new Spring Summer catalogue that went live this week.

My box measures 5½" x 2" x 2".  You need one sheet of cardstock (I've used Garden Green) and some scraps of DSP

The base of the box needs a piece of card measuring 9½" x 6".  On the long side score at 2" and 7½".  On the short side score at 2" and 4".  Fold and burnish all the score lines and then make your cuts as shown in the photo

I've put Tear n Tape on the outside of all four flaps as shown in the photo and folded the tabs in and stuck them to the inside of the box.

The lid starts with a piece of card measuring 7½" x 4" scored on each side at a smidge under 1".  Fold and burnish all the score lines and cut out as shown in the photo.  Add tear n tape in the same way as the base of the box and stick designer series paper to the top and side panels

Turn the tabs to the inside of each side to form the lid.

I'll leave links to all the products I've used at the end of this blog, but next up in the hop is Jo Blackman - click next to see what she's made
