Stamping with Washi Tape? You've got to be joking!

Sunshine & Rainbows Gift Box

I love making boxes and I haven't made many of them recently so while I've got time before I return to the day job, I made this box

This box measures 4" high by 2¾" wide by 1" deep.  You could definitely get a few sweet treats in there.

I'm using the Sunshine & Rainbows designer series paper which is a Sale-a-bration Reward when you spend £45 or more from 4th January 2022.

I've started with a piece of Magenta Madness cardstock measuring 8" x 6½".  On the long side I've scored at 2¾", 3¾", 6½" and 7½".  On the short side I've scored at 1" and 5"

I rounded the corners for the flap at the top and for the bottom I cut the score lines up to the first score line.

I cut 3 pieces of DSP - 2 measure 3⅞" by 2⅝" and the other measures 2⅝" x 1⅜" (watch the direction for this piece)

then stuck them to the large rectangle panels.  I rounded the corners of the  smaller piece and stuck this to the top flap

Form your box by running adhesive (I recommend Tear n Tape) along the tab above and stick this to the inside of the opposite end.  Fold in the bottom flaps and stick these together.

To form the top, pinch just the top of the box together like this:

Don't pinch all the way down - just at the top.

I attached the hearts together with  mini stampin' dimensionals and stuck this to the front of the box.  I've then run some Gold Shimmer Ribbon behind the label and tie it at the top.  If you're better at bows than me, you might like to tie it with a bow rather than a knot!

I've used the happy birthday sentiment from the Sentimental Swirls stamp set from the new catalogue

Place your mini stampin' dimensionals to the sides of the back of the heart so the ribbon sits in between them

Pink, yellow, blue or white ribbon would be just as suitable
