Sweet Talk Suite with Stampin' Up! for an Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop

Hello and in case you've not come across me before, my name is Donna Lester and I'm a UK crafter based in Wales. I go under the name of Taffy Crafting and today I'm taking part in a blog hop which is showcasing a suite from the new Spring/Summer catalogue which went live earlier this month.

Valentine's Day will soon be here so I'm using the Sweet Talk designer series paper for a cute little 2" x 2" x 2" gift box.

The Sweet Talk designer series paper is lovely - doesn't have to be for Valentine's Day but is really suited for it.

My box starts with two sheets of card. One measures 6" x 6" for the base and the other, for the lid, measures 5" x 5". I've scored the larger card at 2" on all four sides and scored the smaller one at 1 7/16" on all four sides.

I've cut it as follows:

Using the Sweet Talk designer series paper, I've cut 5 pieces of the striped paper. 4 pieces measure 1⅞" x 1⅜" and one piece measures 1⅞" x 1⅞". The other piece of paper for the centre measures 1¾" x 1¾"

I put Tear n Tape adhesive on the outside of all four tabs, remove the backing paper and stick the tabs into the inside of each side of the box/lid.

I finished the box with some Gorgeous Grape ribbon
