The Rubber Band Stamping Technique with the Technique Squad Blog Hop

Today, I'm taking part in my first Technique Squad blog hop and its a Creator's Choice today. I've decided to show you the rubber band technique which is one of my favourite stamping techniques. Here's my card

I've started with a stamping block and some rubber bands

and I've wrapped the bands around the block in as random pattern as possible

I inked up the block, first using Just Jade, and stamped this on a piece of card measuring 5" x 3½"

then I stamped it in Bumblebee

then Magenta Madness

and finishing with Misty Moonlight

I've used the Heart Punch pack and punched out the scalloped heart in Magenta Madness and the plain edge heart in Basic White. I've stamped a sentiment on the white heart. I've used Misty Moonlight ink and my sentiment comes from Tranquil Thoughts stamp set

I stuck the two hearts together with mini stampin' dimensionals and stuck the hearts down on the card with liquid glue.

My stamped card is layered on a piece of Magenta Madness card measuring 5⅛" x 3⅝"
