A Double Gatefold Fun Fold with Awash in Beauty

It's been a very hot week here in Mid Wales as well as over the rest of UK and Europe but I've found some time this week to do some live crafting on my Facebook page. One of the projects I made was this Double Gatefold card using the Awash in Beauty designer series paper.

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock measuring 10" x 7" and scored on the long side at 2½" and 7½". This gives you your basic gatefold.

For the other two parts of the gate you need two pieces of Basic White card measuring 4½" x 3¼"

The two front panels are decorated with designer series paper measuring 6⅞" x 2⅜" and the two horizontal gate parts are decorated with designer series paper measuring 4⅜" x 3⅛"

I've finished the front of the card off with a simple 'Happy Birthday' from Go To Greetings and stamped this in Merry Merlot and I've punched this out using the Lasting Label punch. The edges of the punched label are daubed in Merry Merlot ink.

A couple of rhinestones finish off the sentiment.

The inside of the card is lined with some lovely bright designer series paper with a piece of basic white card for the sentiment and message inside.
